Who am I, and why did I start this blog?

As you might have guessed from the name of this site, my name is Aoife. I have been debating about starting a book review blog for a few years. I don’t yet know the exact reason why I decided to finally begin this journey. It just felt right. 

I hope to use this blog as a space where I can post my honest thoughts and feelings about the books I will read throughout the coming year.  My main aim is to spread my love of reading to others. Hopefully, by sharing my thoughts on these books others will be encouraged to also read them (of course, this is assuming anyone ever finds and reads these reviews in the first place).  

To be completely honest, I have never posted a book review before. And so, I predict that in the beginning (and probably a good while after!) I will be quite bad at it. But reviewing, like many other skills, is something that can only be improved upon with time and practice. That being said, I hope that you will not judge me too harshly while I explore and discover all that this opportunity has to offer me.
